I was appointed in 2021 as Chief Executive Officer for Heretaunga Tamatea Settlment Trust, a post settlement governance entity within the Ngāti Kahungunu collective . This followed 20 years in senior roles at Universities of Otago and University of Canterbury. I also retain directorships Retara Holdings Ltd, Chairperson of DOVE Hawkes Bay and a member of Social Workers’ Tribunal. I have also held prior governance roles across iwi entities, National Crown bodies, regulatory bodies and community groups.

My personal and professional passion is iwi development, stemming from a community work background, aligned to undergraduate, masters through to Doctoral qualifications.
