Prior to working at Muka Whānau Services, I walked different career paths working in the Retail and the Education sector, but nothing seems more rewarding than working with our Rangatahi here in Hawke’s Bay. As a member of the YWISS Check & Connect Program we work with Rangatahi who are starting to disengage from school, provide extra support where needed, and also work with their whānau to ensure the best possible outcomes for everyone.

I am a Māmā to a handsome boy who is my greatest achievement to date. I am very fortunate to have a big whānau with four living generations in our household. So, though life is very hectic, it definitely takes a village, and I am grateful for mine.
